We
Power is a Milwaukee-based non-utility subsidiary of Wisconsin
Energy Corporation (WEC) created in 2001 to design, build and
own new generating units. We Power is managing this effort by working
with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firms to develop
and construct the new generating units. The EPC firms are responsible
for the engineering, procurement and construction of the equipment
related to the plant.
Procurement
activities for each project will continue until each plant reaches
completion. We are building one additional generating unit at Port Washington.
